April's Showers Brought Us Flowers!!!

Moving into the new house, we had no idea what would pop up this spring. To our surprise we have had random flowers show up all over :) I did my best to capture the beauty in the spring...I have a lot to learn. We are so happy to start seeing the sun again!!! oh how I missed him!!!! Keep shining (atleast till June 19th) :)

Easter came and went, Jack somehow got WAY too much stuff!!! I think the Easter bunny or Easter bunnies forgot about what he bought and then got more and when the bunnies pulled it out they realized they are their mother/grandmother....Oh to be an Irma! :) I'm not sure that's spelled correctly... Oh well..

Nana Pam and Papa Bob came down to Uncle Bubba's new house to celebrate Easter...We had so much fun and were lucky enough to survive the tornadoes!

Nana and Jack decorated many many many cookies that day! So many that we had to give them away as gifts ! hehe...I couldn't have them in the house without eating them!!!

By the way...We had icing EVERYWHERE!

The pretty weather has given us the opportunity to spend some extra time outside.. Being that Jordan and I don't get to spend much time to be alone and relax from screaming children, work, and school...I decided to take him camping for his birthday! We had fun...except it was 30 some degrees that night!!!! Brr I would not have made it as a cave woman! Luckily I had 2 dogs to snuggle with to keep warm!!!!

We sat around the fire looking up at the trees appreciating the peace and quiet! Oh what fun...

Oh and did I mention the reason I go camping!? SMORES! mmmmm... How I love roasting my mallows and getting all sticky! yummmy yummmy.....

These types of weekends bring you back to reality. It makes you remember why you spend your days picking up dirty socks, planning a wedding a don't have time for, and listening to certain people sing all over the house :) What a great night we had... Just us .... (and a racoon) :(

The beautiful weather has given the boys ample time to play golf outside.... Batman and JuJu...

Our flowers we planted are finally growing but Jack is sad because he wanted green flowers not pink!

My birthday just left which is happy and sad to me...Turning 24 is not the most exciting but JuJu and Batman brought me breakfast in bed which I have to admit startled me! Because I was fast asleep!! LOL We had a great day though! We are looking forward to the next 2 months! We are soon going to the beach which we are sooo excited for and my school is finally over so I can plan the wedding!!!! Spring is my favorite time of the year and these types of weeks help me to remember why! The world is continuously changing around us...away with the old and in with the new :)If 24 didnt sound old enough soon I will be a wife... Which also reminds me...Happy Mother's Day! I was somehow lucky enough to be blessed with the world's greatest mother and I could not ask for anyone who loves me more. Thank u mom for all that u do! How wonderful of a world we live in. We look forward to seeing all of you soon!!!! Miss u and love u!

Spring has Sprung!

We cannot express how excited we are to see some sunshine! What a long, cold, and wet winter we have had.... Hopefully the rain is out of the way and beautiful weather is to come (especially around June 18th) :) This last month has been wonderful....At this point anything above 30 is beautiful! Sometimes we don't appreciate what we have until it's gone and I hope to enjoy every warm and sunny day until next winter! That's my goal! Because of this we have been outside every chance we can get....

No matter the activity, Jack will find a way to get dirty and destroy something...Who's child is that?! Bubbles were everywhere and everyone was sticky but we had fun! Lindy loved the bubbles, I think she thought they were balls.... :)
Being a stay at home mom (of 2 these days) sometimes 3.... it gives me plenty of time to stalk people on craigslist to get their free things :) Jordan and Lance (Lindy's daddy) drove down to a beautiful trailer park to give our kids a free swingset!!! Yay!!! So much fun!
Everyday Jack asks to push Lindy...LOL .... I dont wish to have that conversation with Lindy's parents to why their child did a flip out of the swing. So soon Lindy will get her baby swing and watch out world!

So as much as Lindy loved the bubbles, we hated the grass!!!! Poor baby...It took some time but I was able to convince her that it wasn't so bad as long as it did not touch her feet!

Yummy :)

The boys have really enjoyed getting outside to play ball.....

Along with all the fun, comes yard work.... It has been fun decorating the yard on a budget of course.... My wonderful parents came down one weekend to help plant grass seed which finally after 3 weeks and 2 snows we are beginning to sprout!!! :)

Jagger...I mean Jordan :) Picking up sticks! Otherwise we have stick eating dogs!

My mini horticulturalist with his "work gloves" :) He loved his shovel!!!

Packing the dirt! He was sooo disappointed it didn't look like the picture on the packet....He did not like the idea we had to wait and let it grow. :(

Ta- Da!

So far, the only plant growing out of 10 LOL!!!! Oooopps...

Spring is the time of year when everything starts anew..... and I am so excited to start my new life with my 2 favorite men....If we like it or not change happens...Even when we don't want it to....Spring shows us that change is good...it is a new start, a new beginning. Look around to those you love and the change that may be happening in your life....Because change is how you look at it.....and change happens like it or not..... This spring we are getting new families, a new home, and the anticipation of how much new is in front of us... There is so much to be grateful for this year...

Ice Ice Baby

As a new blogger, the weather has given me many opportunities lately to take pictures and blog about our lives. I am sure once the ice melts and school re-opens writing on my blog will soon turn into writing papers and group therapy. So enjoy this one I'm sure it will be awhile before I have free time again....

As we sat at home prepared for the worst we watched as it rained and froze, rain and froze, and a little more rain and then froze... 20 minutes north received 24 inches of snow and 20 minutes south had just rain.....Lucky us, we got ICE......

We went store to store trying to find wood for warmth in case the electricity went out but we were very lucky..... we had heat and beautiful scenery :)

ICE..... For those of you who have not seen the new house here it is at it's best......

We had many many fires burning the next few days...One it was terribly cold and two we had about 4 boxes of wood ;) We bundled up tight with temperatures getting down to about 3 degrees each day....

And of course we had to strike a pose or two :)

ICE...... And just when we thought we couldn't get enough Ice...I found Blues tickets online for 7$....And if anyone has met our son his entire life revolves around one thing.....Hockey....

ICE...... In case you were wondering, no we did not play the Blackhawks. Try explaining this to a 3 year old.... and luckily the cheapest thing at the gift shop was also the only blackhawk's merchandise... We have slept with this every night this week...

ICE......

What a great time....... We hope everyone is keeping warm....and miss and love u all (y'all) ;) !!!!!!!!!!!
